Under 15 v Towcesterians 26th November 2017

The U15’s bolstered by some U14 players and some new recruits to the Junior Buzzard outfit made their way to Towcester for a friendly fixture on Sunday.

This was an opportunity for the coaches to take a look at some options within the squad and try a few new ideas. the match started brightly with some very tight play amongst the forward packs. Newcomer Ben Caller finally made it over the white line for his debut Try, Harry N Converting with ease. After this, Towcester then came back hard and fast and by the end of the first half had run in 3 unanswered Tries, Converting 1 of them.

the second half was a very balanced affair with both Teams playing some superb rugby in patches. Kai Baines continued his scoring record with a great Hookers Try barrelling his way through the opposition players. Towcester responded with another Try of their own.  Ethan Hayter and Rhys Thorne then ran in a Try each, which unfortunately Harry was unable to Convert leaving the final score a very fair 22 All.
