Mini Presentation Lunch 2019

Sunday 14th April 2019 saw the youngest of our rugby players being celebrated for their achievements in the season.

The boys and girls from the under 6s to the under 9s came together for a morning of fun and games as the parents put on their trainers to join in training.

Once training had finished the mums and dads headed into the clubhouse to rest their weary bodies after being schooled by the children….. Who were enjoying burgers after all their hard work.

The clubhouse was filled to bursting as the presentation was due to begin. Presenting our awards were our President Mark Hardy, Senior Team captain Jack Whitehouse and club secretary Lee Beaumont. We were also extremely lucky to have England International and Saracens ladies Rosie Galligan and Hannah Botterman to present awards too.

The boys and girls were all presented with medals for their efforts during the season and each age group had awards for Players Player (as voted by teammates) and Coaches Player. There were also some awards for Best Newcomer and Most Improved. I can safely say each team of coaches had a very difficult time deciding on who the awards go to as each and every player has shown talent and dedication.

The presentation was followed by a photo opportunity with Rosie and Hannah and then an Easter egg hunt in the ground of the club.
