Dear All
I am absolutely delighted to inform you that as from Saturday 4th July, following the easing of the lockdown by the Government, the Bar at the Rugby Club will be re-opening; albeit with restrictions in place to protect the safety of our guests and staff.
For the time being, seating will be outside only at the rear of the clubhouse and will be limited to first-come, first-served.
In order to comply with ‘Track and Trace’ procedures, a member proposing to visit the Club will be required to text a dedicated Mobile Phone NumberĀ (see attached Rules and Poster for details of this number) to advise that they will be coming to the Club, the approximate time of arrival and the number of people in the party.
Attached to this email are a poster which outlines some of the procedures and restrictions in place, and a more comprehensive set of ‘Rules’ that everyone must follow for the safety of all.
An enormous amount of work has gone in to ensuring that the club is ‘Covid-Secure’ and that our guests can visit us with the confidence that they and their families and friends will be safe. I would like to thank everybody involved in this work, especially our Health & Safety Officer, Mark Hardy, who has done a fantastic job in ensuring that all requirements and guidance have been followed and met.
I look forward to seeing some of you in person over the next few weeks as we continue to emerge from lockdown.
Regards
Lee Beaumont
Chairman
