Leighton Buzzard Rugby Club is looking for a hard-working dedicated individual or couple who has a passion for providing high-quality hospitality.
The new manager will ensure the clubhouse is fully operational and ready for use, by our Members and their guests.
To play an integral part in developing the atmosphere at the club into one that is dynamic, welcoming, and fun – where people choose to come and socialise and spend their leisure time.
In performing this role, delivery of the highest professional standards and quality of services will be paramount. The post holder will be required to explore and implement all appropriate cost saving efficiencies and service improvements, and to be aware of, and
maximise, the commercial opportunities available, both to our Members and for external hiring’s and events, and to promote these at every opportunity.
This position requires excellent organisational and personal skills, open-mindedness with a patient personality that will engage with the General Committee and Directors of the Club, in order to assist with the future growth and development of the Club. The successful applicant will have a “can and will do” approach and will be expected to be an ambassador for the Club at all times, and be a visible presence during opening hours representing the Club in a professional and friendly manner.
The role can be extended to include the provision of catering for events at the club, including post-match player’s meals, pre-match lunches for up to 120 guests, and other internal and external events on an ad-hoc basis. This is not essential to the role and could be franchised out.
