As you will now be aware, Bedfordshire will be placed into Tier 4 restrictions as from 12.01am tomorrow morning.
Our commitment to looking after the health and welfare of not just our rugby family, but our wider community has led us to make the difficult decision to suspend all rugby activity from today until into the New Year.
We hope that in doing so, and by reducing the potential number of contacts and interactions between people, we can contribute to our members and their families being able to enjoy a safer Christmas period and beyond.
This decision will be reviewed regularly and when it is safe to do so, we will resume activity.
We are a community club run by volunteers, for the benefit of our community and whilst we understand this decision may be disappointing we strongly believe that this is the only sensible course of action open to us.
We would like to thank all our players, volunteers, supporters, and staff for their support of our club and our sport during these unprecedented times.
We would like to wish all of you a very happy and safe Christmas period and we will look forward to welcoming you back to a safe club in the not-too-distant future.
