MENS XV’S AIM TO BE BACK WITH A BANG

Our Senior Men’s teams are back in action this weekend after a weekend off with fixtures scheduled for both the 1st XV and 2nd XV.
The 1st XV make the shortest journey of the season to Newlands Road to take on 3rd place Luton Rugby. Buzzards are looking to to defend their undefeated record and take one step closer to the Championship title.
When the two sides met earlier in the season, it was Luton who came the closest to downing Buzzards as both sides played out a thriller at Wright’s Meadow. Buzzards snatched a 31-30 victory at the death with a converted try!
The 2nd XV are in home action as they welcome Bletchley Rugby Club to town. Buzzards sit 1 point behind the visitors in the Bedfordshire Merit Table and were 54-14 victors in the reverse fixture in November. Following a fine win against Stockwood Park last time out , the 2nd XV will be keen to put on a good performance for the home faithful!
Both sides would love to have your support, so make yourself available either to get those boots on or cheer the boys on from the touchline.
