It’s Touch Tuesday!  Ladies Touch Rugby is now available at LBRFC

Ladies Touch Rugby is social fitness at its best! The Leighton Buzzard ladies train every Tuesday evening from 7-8pm. Come along and give it a go, everyone 13 and over is welcome. The team trains all year round, one hour of fun games and a non-competitive match with like-minded non serious players. Whether you want to train for some ‘me’ time or create a time for you and your daughter to get fit together, this is the time and place to do it. It’s free, no contact, touch rugby training. All you need is yourself, a pair of trainers/boots and a bottle of water!

Karen ‘I started for a laugh with the aim of keeping fit and to be sociable. Following having children, I didn’t have any hobbies to speak to but now I do! I look forward to it every week. It’s me time and enjoyable fitness!

Sarah ‘I started as I love to watch rugby and my sons play. I also love team games so I thought I’ve got nothing to lose. Now I look forward to it every week, I talk to everyone about it. It’s a great way to have a bit of me time, doing something I really enjoy, it’s a good way to do some exercise and keep fit and I’ve met some lovely ladies and coaches too. I’d recommend it to anyone!’

Natalie ‘I have been bought up around rugby and have spent a life supporting my brother so I thought I’d give it a go. I thoroughly enjoy training and it is “me time” away from my children. I’m now 40 and thought it was time I found a new hobby’

Molly ‘My school doesn’t have a rugby team for girls so I was really excited when I saw the club did. My brother plays in the minis and my parents love rugby so they all come to watch me train and we enjoy it being our family thing.
