Welcome to the Leighton Buzzard 1st XV
This years Captain is Euan Irwin
Leighton Buzzard Rugby Club’s club captain Euan Irwin invites all rugby players to the pre-season training sessions the time table is set out below. Euan is keen to build on last seasons mid table finish and add further competition for places, by attracting existing players and those new to the club and through the pre season training session, build a squad who can compete in Midlands 1 east. The league offers a reasonably demanding level of rugby for the amateur player that wants to test himself. The club offers less demanding levels of rugby too, with the 2nd XV playing in midlands merit tables and for those that want a more social level of rugby there is the 3rd XV where the more mature of years players mix and play with those that have returned to the game or who have recently taken the sport up. The Buzzards academy grows in strength and popularity with the academy side playing in a league and three cup competitions this season.
