RETURN TO RUGBY – UPDATE

We hope you are all well, this is just a quick message to let you know how our plans are progressing for the Return to Rugby following the latest national lockdown.

We are currently following the guidelines and regulations as set out by the Rugby Football Union and East Midlands RFU, which allow for rugby activity to re-start from Monday 29th March as per the RFU Roadmap.

As you will be aware, our situation at LBRFC is somewhat different from most other rugby clubs as we have been doing our bit for the community by hosting the

Leighton Buzzard PCN

COVID-19 Vaccination Centre since January, and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.

This means that we have had to plan around this in order that this vital service can continue, but that our rugby club can also simultaneously get back to it’s core business.

I would like to thank you all for your patience whilst we work through this complex situation and we will be finalising and publicising details within the next few days.

I would also like to thank you in advance for bearing with us as we begin to open up the club again.

Arrangements will be different to what you may have been used to pre-lockdown, but we hope that you understand the reasons for these changes and continue to support us and the local PCN in their efforts.
