This years season started in September 2019 with about 18 boys and girls, some being new to playing rugby and some who had some previous experience.
The season, though cut short, enabled the young players to experience training and then to move on to matches, playing at home and at other local rugby clubs.
During their training sessions the coaches tried to make it a fun form of learning often starting the session with a game of bulldog.
The players then went through a series of fun drills from obstacles to passing and catching and learning to run around other players. Also learning the rules of the game.
The children also experienced a range of weather, heavy rain, wind and even some sunshine
