U12 GIRLS ENJOY PITCH UP AND PLAY
Well done the U12 girls who took part played in a pitch up and play event at Chinnor RFC Thame yesterday . The coaches are extremely pleased at how the group are developing.

FIRST HALF BLUES COST BUZZARDS Under 15s
A strong first-half performance proved enough for Bedford Junior Blues U15s to edge out a resilient Leighton Buzzard side in a closely fought contest. While the final score line suggested a comfortable win for Bedford, the reality was a much tighter affair.
Bedford started brightly, utilising a combination of effective kicking and quick attacking play to build a substantial 37-7 lead by halftime.
Leighton Buzzard emerged for the second half a different team. Having clearly learned from Bedford’s first-half kicking strategy, they returned with renewed vigour, displaying improved defensive organisation and a more potent attacking threat.
Their efforts were rewarded with a second try, signalling their intent to mount a comeback.
Despite the visitors’ resurgence, Bedford managed to add to their tally with a well-worked try. Leighton Buzzard continued to battle bravely, but ultimately, Bedford’s strong first-half performance provided the foundation for their victory. 42-14 final score.
U16s WIN ON ROAD AT WELLINGBOROUGH
Buzzard U16s picked up a good win on the road at Wellingborough yesterday. Probably a more even game than the score line suggested but our back line came together well and contributed some good tries as our forwards ground out the game.
Well done everybody!
BUZZARD COLTS DIG DEEP FOR WIN
LB Colts ground out a great 15-5 win against a combined Luton/Stockwood team.
Buzzard kicked off the first half playing up the slope and into the wind looked to be in control.
Then unfortunately we lost our fly half to a nasty finger injury so the boys had to adapt quickly going into the break 5-5.
In the second half our lads were fantastic taking control of the game scoring two more tries and keeping Luton pinned in their half.
It was the boys defensive display which really shone today.
Lots of lads really excelled today with plenty of honourable mentions in head coach Rich’s post match talk but back of the match went to Henry Jay and forward of the match went to captain Will McAndrew, outstanding from the boys and leading from the front.
That’s now 5 wins from 5 in the league with one to go.
