‘Buzzards U13’s put in a dominant performance against Bugbrooke Badgers in what turned out to be a very one-sided encounter.
The young Buzzards started with real confidence and led by match captain Owen Merrison, took the game directly to Bugbrooke.
The tries quickly followed as the Buzzard forwards dominated the contact area with impressive displays of power and strength at both ruck, maul and scrum from Kian McWillians, Cullan Bowen and the rest of the forward pack.
By halftime Buzzards had the upper-hand in most aspects of play and had run-in 9 unopposed tries.
The half-back pairing of Sam Johnson and Jamie West continued to control the game and launched the backs into the open spaces with further tries coming from Nathan Bottomley and Tyler Rose.
All in all a very committed and competent display by the Buzzards U13’s.’
