Minis match report 2018-2019

Under 10s v St Albans 24th March 2019

We brought the sun over to St Albans this Sunday. Our opposition were short on numbers today but we’re well organised and good hosts.
We played two matches with some Buzzards players going over to help make up the opposition numbers.

The game started slowly, with both sides allowing tries to be scored with strong direct running. But with some shuffling of the teams the game came to life.

There was some excellent running rugby and good tackling with the Buzzards and St Albans Baa-Baas being evenly matched. Both teams worked hard to defend with turnover balls off each try line. Our interplay in attack continues to improve with some well timed passes resulting in tries being scored.

The final quick fire match, Buzzards vs Buzzards, was played with plenty of passion (and a few handbags) which is always great to see on the pitch.

Good weather, good rugby and a team that continues to push forwards.
