Buzzards Junior Academy put together another fine performance at Wright’s Meadow against a strong Dunstable looking for a different outcome to the last time these two sides met earlier in the season. With both U14 and U15 players starting, this was a real test of the hours put in on the training ground.
The first half was a very balanced affair with the sides trading Tries and Conversions to make it 14 All at the Break, with Rhys Thorne and Harry Verney scoring the Buzzard Tries and Harry Nossiter kicking the Conversions.
The second half saw the home side really turn on the style though, scoring 4 unanswered Tries through Dylan Creber, Ben Caller, Dylan Fellows and, once again, Rhys running some superb lines of attack. Two conversions, once by harry N and secondly by jack Cullen rounded off the scoring, making it 38-14 to the Home side.
The support from the parents, relatives and friends from the touchline was a real boost to the lads and is something the Coaching team and the players are really grateful for.
